Troop 1518 - The Outdoor Connection

Troop 1518 was founded in March 2002 by experienced scouters and committed group of scouts.  Since that time, we have had scouts from all over Orange County join our troop, and many of them have reached Eagle Scout Rank.  Our scouts have travelled to places like Joshua tree, Whitsett, Philmont, Snow Valley, Emerald Bay, and Yosemite (that's our group waving from the top of Half Dome).   Our Charter Organization is the Tustin-Santa Ana Rotary Club, which is well-known for its commitment to community service.

We usually hold our Troop Meetings twice a month during the school year on Mondays from 7:00 - 8:30 pm at Pioneer Middle School in Tustin.  Our regular meetings prepare us for outdoor activities and campouts throughout the surrounding region.  The Scoutmasters and parents on the Troop Committee are non-paid trained volunteers who work together to help the scouts grow.  Scouts have the opportunity to earn several merit badges each year, as well as advance through the ranks at their own pace.  Cost of individual campouts vary.  If you are interested in joining our troop, click on the "Contact Us" link and let us know!
